We had a new build garden and just did not know what to do with the big rectangle with poor soil and no plants in it. We really wanted somewhere social to have family and friends around without the neighbours watching our every move. We were given a really simple design which we could follow and a planting list of the exact plants we needed and where they should all go. We also followed Leigh’s advice to add some new topsoil and the garden is now looking great and we have a wonderful patio and pergola area to dine out in the sunshine (when it arrives!).
